It can also be hard, especially if you are a mother, to reach out and ask for help. Many women feel scared, ashamed, or nervous that someone will judge them if they have anxiety or depression and need support. Happy Hearts Women's Healthcare knows this stigma is nonsense- and that good moms, and great women battle anxiety and depression. You are not alone, and you deserve support.

If your goal is to avoid medications, we have alternative treatment options that work well for both anxiety and depression, including herbal remedies, supplements, dietary recommendations, and more

If you desire medication, we can prescribe the most effective, evidence-based treatments for anxiety and depression.

Midwife Alyssa is Perinatal Mental Health Certified- which means she has studied and certified in understanding and managing mood disorders from the pregnancy to the postpartum period.
Mental Health is a subject that is near and dear to Midwife Alyssa's heart, and she will listen to you with compassion and empathy, and work with you to find the best solutions for your mind and your body.
Our Services
We straddle the line between holistic and modern medicine, and we will work with you to help with either herbal remedies, functional medicine and supplements, or prescribe antidepressant/antianxiety medications. Either option is valid and we support you in whatever you decide.
For those that simply want to start Medication or Herbal treatment- we will do an intake visit and start your treatment the same day.
For those looking wanting to look further into the bigger picture, we will do an intake appointment and draw labwork. We will then book a separate appointment to discuss your results and plan of care.
Follow up appointments will be scheduled at 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and then every 6 months to assure you are doing well on your journey to healing.
