Experience Excellent Collaborative Care Option:

Midwife Alyssa will see you during all of your routine prenatal care in our private, cozy office in Huntington, Indiana. 

With experience in both low and high-risk pregnancies, Midwife Alyssa will work closely with you to monitor your and your baby's health and wellbeing, with attention to maintaining the healthiest pregnancy possible through nutrition, exercise, and herbal medicine if needed. 

Accepted patients include: first time pregnancies, prior vaginal or cesarean deliveries, and those desiring VBAC. 

You will have at least one consultation with Fertility and Midwifery Care Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana- to be able to ask any questions you have about the practice.  We recommend this during the 20 week prenatal appointment to also have your Anatomy Ultrasound performed. Additional visits are available if desired. 

Once you are in labor, Midwife Alyssa will come to your home or meet you in the hospital. Births will take place with FMCC in Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. 

If you and your Midwife agree, Home birth may be an option for your birth. We offer amazing, gentle, specialized birth services in the home environment for those that desire a birth outside the traditional hospital birth mold. 

After you have returned from the hospital, you and your baby will receive expert care during the postpartum healing time (including an in-home visit). From breastfeeding support to physical healing, we will care for you like family. 

Midwife Alyssa is Perinatal Mental Health- Certified as a provider. If you have struggled in the past, or worry you might struggle with perinatal anxiety or depression, we will support you through a variety of ways to assure you have the care you deserve.
